Dynamic Microphones

The main thing behind the work of a microphone diaphragm. Microphone technology depending on the membrane, because it is the only thing that captures the sound waves to create the signal. So, whatever the technology, operation of the microphone is in the same way. But of course, the different uses for different technology, as each microphone has its own use.
Technically speaking, there are five types of microphones commonly used in various purposes. Starting with the latest, it is the wireless microphone that is very popular nowadays. They are widely used for recording and sounds broadcasting. These microphones are portable and can be connected to the camera, recorder, or speaker without the cable. In this system, There are three components that work together to create and send a signal to where it is amplified and recorded.
First, there is the micro-well is fixed a tiny clip around the ear or in the buttonhole. Then the transmitter that converts the audio signal, either in the FM, VHF or UHF radio spectrum bands. The last component is the antenna, which broadcasts the signal produced at a short distance. These microphones are used in different types of programming such as television, shows, performances by bands.
The other types of microphones are:
Dynamic microphones: These work with the help of electromagnetic induction. There is a magnet that induces current flow in the wire. When the diaphragm vibrates due to sound waves, the magnet is moved and this movement creates a small current. As dynamic mics are strong and resilient moisture, they are mainly used in the stage performance by singers and bands.
Condenser microphones: They capacitors are also known as the diaphragm acts as one plate of a capacitor, and the vibrations produce changes in the distance between the plates. And these changes are amplified to create a measurable signal. However, condenser microphones require a small battery to provide a voltage across the capacitor. As they are capable of producing high-quality sounds, they are used in laboratory and studio recordings.
Ribbon microphones: These microphones performed with the help of a metal ribbon is suspended in a magnetic field and is electrically connected to the microphone. This tape is moved by sound waves that the change in current passing through it and therefore electrical signal is generated. Ribbon microphones are used primarily for the cymbals in a drum.
Crystal Microphone: In these microphones, a crystal is attached to the membrane which creates the signal when the diaphragm is vibrated by sound waves. In fact, It uses the phenomenon of piezoelectricity. This means that there are some materials such as crystals that produce a voltage when subjected to pressure, to convert vibrations into electrical signals. However, crystal microphones are used with equipment such as vacuum tube tape recorders servants. They are even used as contact microphones to amplify the sounds of acoustic musical instruments.
Carbon microphones: These microphones were used in phones in the past. They mainly use carbon dust with a thin metal diaphragm on one side. And when Sound waves hit the diaphragm they compress the carbon dust that changes its resistance. This changing resistance changes the amount of current passing through.
