Boom Microphone
Please can anyone recommend a low-cost microphone shotgun? Husband wants a boom mic for Christmas?
Or, should I buy something that would be a better boom mic? Less than $ 250.
I have two shotguns Audio Technica ATR55 I got home Best Buy for $ 50 each. They are good, but certainly not the best quality ones you can get. Sennheiser makes some very good, but they are expensive. My advice with microphone is to get the best of your means. People will forgive Shakey video, they do not forgive Shakey Audio. Photo B & H Check & video. They decent prices and most models so you can compare and make the right choice. Also ask your husband if he has a preference, some of us pretty particular about our equipment, and might prefer a gift certificate for the right model instead of another error Productions Tony Noon Noon.
